Case Study - Desk Top Applications Training Support

In support of the Benefits Agency Training Services (Department of Work and Pensions) implementation of Microsoft Office software, GP has provided the following services as part of an ongoing agreement since 1998:

• Provision of six instructors, based at the two major training sites in Leeds and Newcastle.
• Presentation of one and two-day courses, attended on average by eight delegates, ranging from Microsoft Word Introduction to Access Advanced and Dreamweaver.
• Consolidation and standardisation of a disparate collection of Microsoft Office course literature, by replacing it with GP course reference materials. This initiative helped to standardise the level of course delivery in the Training Service's two centres.
• Course materials design of an A4 quick reference card and a booklet covering the most relevant software commands.
