Fossil Fuel Power Plant Training
Overview
Supported by a staff of highly experienced instructors, GP offers a number of training options for your power plant personnel. All of our power plant short courses can be presented at your site and can be customized to suit your needs and equipment. Additionally, many of our courses are available on an open enrollment basis at locations across the US. After selecting your preferred course(s), you can complete our registration form to begin the registration process.
Course Catalog
GP offers two series of workforce development courses for power plant personnel. The Operations Knowledge™ Series focuses on the operations and maintenance of fossil and combined cycle power plants. These courses are suited for all levels of plant personnel. The Performance Knowledge™ Series offers heat rate improvement courses to provide an understanding of the concepts behind fossil and combined cycle performance improvement for all levels of power industry professionals.

Course Features
- We provide all course materials and will incorporate site-specific data at your request.
- Certificates of completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Hours (PDHs), where applicable, are awarded for both our open enrollment and on-site courses.
- All of our courses are evaluated by participants. These evaluations are reviewed by our instructors and management to provide the necessary feedback to continually improve the quality of our instruction.
- At the conclusion of training, each participant should be able to return to the job and immediately apply the information learned.
